Rooted Fragments

Created using Adobe After Effects, this installation explores themes of cultural identity, memory, and the imaginative freedom of childhood. Inspired by the work of Amelia Winger-Bearskin, I combined self-animated 3D trinkets with family photographs to reflect on how our early experiences and cultural roots shape who we are. All assets were personally created or drawn from my family archive, making the piece both intimate and relatable. Accompanied by an original written reflection, Rooted Fragments invites viewers to reconnect with their own origin stories and creative inner worlds.
