Living in Ultraviolet

Created in collaboration with Gabriel Chi and Olive Stewart during an introductory motion capture course. Using Motive and Unreal Engine, we captured and animated an avatar performing abstract, eerie movements inspired by an accidental rig dislocation that became central to the film’s unsettling theme. Set to FKA Twigs’ “Ultraviolet,” the piece explores the tension between beauty and discomfort through textured visuals, moody lighting, and rhythmic motion. This project allowed us to experiment with storytelling through glitch aesthetics and embodied performance in a surreal digital space.
